Teens Need Books Too

July 21, 2008

Hi everyone, I just wanted to update you with some information I have received while talking to our two charities for 1000 Books – 1000 Lives ‘08.

Both charities have made a point to mention that they not only work with young children and babies, but also with teenagers.  Many of these teens are getting ready to age out of programs and are about to enter the world and both of these charities can do a lot to help get them started; if, that is, they have the support from people like you.

This might make it easier for some of you who have contacted me and asked if the books need to be baby books, books for young adults might be easier to find on your bookshelves.

Thanks again to everyone who has already started sending in books, I am sure this year will be a great success!
